F.E.S. Girls’ College began its journey of imparting education to lesser privileged women in an area, where education to girls of weaker section was a far reaching dream. Female Education Society, Chandrapur took the initiative and started the Senior College for women in 1983. The institution till date provided education to heavy number of girls, and helped them enrich their lives socially and economically. The tiny sapling in the form of a single faculty Arts college has grown slowly and steadily. Presently the institution has Arts, Commerce and Science Undergraduate programs and Four Post Graduation Programs. The college undertakes Skill Development Courses thereby providing additional opportunities to our students to pursue carrier in varied fields.

The college is spread over 1.2 acres of land. Hostel facilities available for girls in college premises. The college is committed to promoting the traditional games like Kho-Kho, Kabaddi. The college encourages students to participate in variety of co-curricular activities like debate, sports etc. We believe in empowering our students in various fields. So that they become self- confident and a good human being.
